Marrakech-Menara Airport: Deleting control devices to facilitate traffic

Marrakech-Menara Airport loosened inspection devices, scanners and Gantry at the entrance on Friday and enables travelers to access the airport faster and avoid long queues. This initiative was made possible thanks to the cooperation between the airport security authorities such as the Interior Ministry, the General Director for National Security (DGSN) and the Royal Gendarmerie, which have reorganized control and at the same time maintain strict security standards.

Airport director Nawal Mounir explained that the National Airport Office (ONDA) improves the management of rooms and currents and has shortened the waiting time on average by less than an hour.

Reinforcements for employees and devices were also used to ensure faster and more efficient service.

Note that other projects are planned, in particular the renovation of the departure area, the installation of new management devices, the addition of boarding doors and the introduction of e-gate to shorten the waiting time to half an hour.
