Rabat-Mohamed Ali Oukacha was unanimously re-elected as President of the Federation of Maritime Fisheries (FPM) after the ordinary election meeting in the Confederation of this week.
Ouukacha, who has led the FPM over the past three years, is now starting a new term for the period from 2025-2028 together with its Vice President Taoufik Jundy, said the Federation in a press release.
During the meeting, industry experts gathered to discuss the challenges for the maritime fishing sector and important opportunities. According to statement, the participants talked about urgent problems and examined the future prospects for sustainable growth.
Oukacha gave a speech in the meeting in which he confirmed the commitment of the Federation to defend the interests of all sector stakeholders. He also expressed the commitment of the FPM to ensure that the concerns and demands of his members are at the head of his agenda.
