Enzo Maresca has denied speculation about a connection between Chelsea and Manchester United wingers Alejandro Garnacho and emphasizes that he was “satisfied” with the strikers who are currently available to him.
According to a report by Sky Sports, the blues are considering a change of the Argentine, who has lost its place in the Ruben Amorim starting line -up in the past few weeks.
Amorim refused to confirm whether the 20-year-old would stay in Old Trafford this month, but Chelsea coach Maresca says that Stamford Bridge will probably not be his goal.
When asked about the reports before the game against Manchester City on Sunday, the Italian said: “No, no. I am satisfied with those we have at the moment.
“We have often said that on the right side of Pedro (Neto) and Noni (Madueke) and Jadon (Sancho) on the left.
“Misha (Mudryk) was with us and is not with us now. I think Tyrique (George) is a young profile that can help us, so we are doing well at the moment. ”

Maresca about MAN City’s problems: “Pep needs support”
On the opening day of the season, City prevailed 2-0 against Chelsea in the second leg, but the duo has experienced an opposite fate since then.
The defending champion was not going this season and is 12 points behind leaders Liverpool in fifth place, while a 2: 4 defeat against Paris Saint-Germain leaves him on the edge of leaving the Champions League on Wednesday.
But Maresca, who was assistant to coach Pep Guardiola twice between 2021 and 2023, is confident that the Catalan tactician City will bring back to the old trail of success.
The 44-year-old said: “Pep is strong enough. Like everyone, he needs support. They have always been at the top in the last eight or nine years, have always won trophies and important things.
“It is normal, it can happen. What does not happen is the number of years in which you have won trophies.
“What is normal is what happens now. Certainly you will soon win many trophies.
“My relationship with PEP and the club is very good. I have often said that my contact is very good, I will always be grateful for the trust you have shown me.
“Every club, every moment, every player. Most of the clubs who have this moment are ready, but it will be fine. ”
News about Chelsea injuries
Maresca says that the Talisman striker Cole Palmer is “better” after he left Chelsea’s latest FA-Cup victory against Morecambe, even though he played against Crystal Palace and Wolves in the Premier League.
The Italian said: “He’s better. He made incredible efforts to play against the Wolves, and he is getting better. “
On the fitness of his team’s residual, Maresca said: “Probably Levi (Colwill) and Enzo (Fernandez) could be ready (to compete against Man City), it depends on today’s session.”
“Romeo (Lavia) fails on Saturday. We don’t know yet (the severity of the injury). We still have to wait a bit, but at least a few more weeks (it will fail). “
