Manchester City have confirmed the signing of Egyptian striker Omar Marmoush from Eintracht Frankfurt.
The 25-year-old has signed a four-and-a-half-year contract until June 2029.
Marmoush has scored 15 goals in 17 Bundesliga games this season, trailing only Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane.
“It’s a day I’ll never forget,” Marmoush said.
“Signing for Manchester City – one of the best teams in the world – is an incredible feeling. I’m very happy, my family is so proud and we’re all very happy to be here in Manchester.
“With Pep, his technical staff and the first-class facilities here, the players have everything they need to improve. That was really tempting for me when I had the chance to come here.
“And I can’t deny that I want to win trophies too. City have been the most successful club in England for many, many years, so I know I am joining a successful environment and culture.
“I want to learn from the employees and my teammates and become a valued member of this successful team.
“I’m really looking forward to getting started, meeting the other players and showing the Manchester City fans what I can do.”

City also signed 19-year-old defender Vitor Reis from Palmeiras and defender Abdukodir Khusanov from Lens in the January transfer window.
Marmoush moves to the Premier League after just 18 months with Frankfurt, having joined on a free transfer from Wolfsburg.
The talented striker, who can operate in the front three, was left out of the Frankfurt team that beat Borussia Dortmund on Friday evening. The German club confirmed that they are negotiating his departure.
Director of Football Txiki Begiristain said: “Omar is an accomplished and exciting striker and I am delighted that he is joining us.
“He had an outstanding season and every time we saw him he influenced games.
“He has all the qualities a first-class attacker needs. He has outstanding pace and awareness and is exceptional in front of goal. He can also play many different positions, which is a really valuable asset.
“I also have no doubt that by working with Pep and the technical staff here at City he will continue to develop his outstanding attacking talent.”
