Luke Littler has told fans he is ready and refreshed to take on Ian White in the third round of the PDC World Darts Championship on Saturday.
In a post just hours before he returned to duty after a week-long break, Littler described his Christmas celebrations as “high quality.”
“Now it’s time to get back at it,” added the 17-year-old, who is bookmakers’ favorite to win the title behind defending champion Luke Humphries.

Littler was the first darts player to have more than a million followers on Instagram and now has more than 1.4 million fans on the platform.
The sports sensation posted a photo of himself taking part in a special edition of the popular darts TV show Bullseye on Tuesday.
To promote the episode, which was shown on Christmas Day, Littler appeared on screen alongside former England cricketer Freddie Flintoff.
“You can never have enough darts on TV, that’s for sure,” he said. “I enjoyed being part of the Bullseye Christmas special… Merry Christmas everyone.”
When does Luke Littler play Ian White?
Littler’s showdown with White, a major underdog, is expected to begin after 21:30 GMT on Saturday, December 28, 2024.
The 54-year-old world number 57 has claimed he regularly beat Littler’s grandfather Phil in his early sporting days in Runcorn, where Littler was born.
World number 15 Chris Dobey faces an opponent three places below him, Josh Rock, in the first match of the evening session at London’s Alexandra Palace, which starts at 7pm.
Three-time champion Michael van Gerwen takes center stage immediately ahead of Littler and White and faces Brendan Dolan.
Littler defeated compatriot Ryan Meikle 3-1 on December 21 to reach this stage of the tournament.
