Loubna Ghaleb, member of the Tanger Med Group’s board of directors, was rewarded on Friday of the 10th “Gender Leadership Award”, which was granted by Miga and the World Bank on the occasion of the international day of women’s rights rights.
Loubna Ghaleb was praised for his leadership and its role in creating an integrative and sustainable work environment within the Tanger Med Group. The training engineer started her career in 2005 and occupied several strategic positions, which contributed to the development of Tangier Med Port Complex, today the largest container harbor in Africa and the Mediterranean.
She played a key role in the concession of port terminals for international actors such as APM terminals, Maersk, CMA CGM or Hapag Lloyd as well as the establishment of the Renault factory in Tanger and the takeover of Marsa Maroc.
Note that this price, which was created in 2016, honors women’s leaders for their commitment to equality for gender within companies.
