Yesterday I did a two -hour and simple cruise in pleasant weather. From and back on the Coyote Creek Trail, where it is flooded by the recent rains, and then south towards Gilroy on the slightly traveled country roads on the east side of the valley. During my warming, I had a mental decay and almost drove into the back of a parked trailer because I dreamed instead of watching where I was going. I swiveled and came to a panic station, but lost the balance and made a slowdown. No damage inflicted. The cool part was that two separate drivers in Pickup trucks stopped to ensure that I was fine. It is nice to be reminded that there are many nice people in the world.
When I go to my trips, my wife always says “a lot of fun, be particularly careful” and I promise that I will do it. I think we have to change it in “particularly careful”. No daydreaming at 15 miles per hour!
