London: Founding of the “Labor Friends of Morocco” group.
A new group, Labor Friends of Morocco (LFM), was founded in London to promote relations between Morocco and the British Labor Party. Under the presidency of Representative Joe Powell, the LFM is committed to building lasting partnerships by promoting diplomatic, economic, cultural and educational relationships.
With an expected trading volume of £3.8 billion in 2024, the group aims to increase trade particularly in the renewable energy, technology and tourism sectors. At its founding, members signed a commitment to align the interests of both countries and recognized Morocco as a strategic ally.
“The Moroccan community in the UK serves as an important bridge between our two nations, working to strengthen our relationships and promote deeper mutual understanding“said the Moroccan ambassador to Britain, Hakim Hajoui.
