The tax revenue of the local authorities (CT) reached 4.992 billion DH at the end of February 2025 and marked an increase of 28.3% compared to the previous year.
This growth is mainly attributed to an increase in direct (+56.7%) and indirect (+18.3%) taxes. Tax revenue accounts for 87.1% of the CT total turnover.
The resources transferred to CTS also rose by 43.9%and reached 3.428 billion ichernies due to an increase in VAT and corporation tax. On the other hand, the resources managed by the state for CTS took back 2.4%.
In addition, the resources managed by CTS recorded an increase of 9.6%, which corresponds to 1.846 billion Chol, whereby the tax was significantly controlled to non -built urban terrain and other license fees. In addition, 43.9% of the transferred resources and a reduction of 2.4% of the resources managed by the state and the CT.
