Now it looks like “Tweaker” may have been the key to reportedly landing Ball a seven-figure record deal with Def Jam and Universal Music Group.

LiAngelo Ball reportedly gets paid that much in a record deal

ESPN reporter Shams Charania shared news of the alleged record deal via X (formerly Twitter) on Monday, January 13th. Charania revealed that sources valued the deal at $13 million, with $8 million of that amount guaranteed. Additionally, LiAngelo Ball retains ownership of his music and his label, Born To Ball Music Group. by Genius. Also, Charania’s report stated that LiAngelo already had a second song after “Tweaker”.

LiAngelo has made a strong transition from professional basketball to music in recent months. He is the middle child of the Ball brothers, the eldest Lonzo and the youngest LaMelo.
