LG today launched the AI trend with a range of new AI services to help consumers with their daily tasks at home, in the car and in the office.

The strategy focuses on three things: connected devices, powerful AI agents and integrated services. Among other things, the company announced a strategic partnership with Microsoft in AI innovation, in which the companies committed to join forces to shape the future of AI-powered spaces.
One of the results is that Microsoft’s Xbox Ultimate Game Pass will appear on LG TVs via the Xbox Cloud, helping LG catch up with Samsung by offering cloud gaming natively on its TVs. LG Electronics will bring the Xbox app to select LG smart TVs. This means gamers with LG Smart TVs can explore the gaming portal to gain direct access to hundreds of games in the Game Pass Ultimate catalog, including popular titles like Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and upcoming releases like Avowed (forthcoming in February). 18, 2025).

Ultimately, LG wants to take the work out of your home for you. The goal is to create a seamless, work-free home using LG’s home-focused operating system and core technologies of LG devices, all unified via AI in a way that adapts to our lifestyles.
“It is a deeply personalized experience with dynamic services that adapt to the customer’s environment,” LG said.
There will be a variety of hubs for AI in our lives, such as self-driving hubs that develop responses depending on the circumstances. In one demo, the AI speaks to the driver of a car by voice, informing him that an accident is imminent and suggesting an alternative route. Additionally, the AI says you probably won’t make your appointment on time and asks if the driver would like to initiate the call from the car.
The car can detect a change in the driver’s vital signs, such as: B. an increase in heart rate, and can suggest calming the driver’s nerves by playing a concentration and relaxation playlist.
LG promised to help consumers with complex content relationships find free content where possible and deal with multiple subscriptions at home.
Priscilla Higa of LG Vehicle Solutions Sales said in the press event that LG AI wants in-car mobility to be a highly personalized experience in the space of the car. The solutions you receive in the car are tailored to the moment.
“The mobility experience is enhanced by AI, like an attentive assistant on the go,” said Higa.
LG unveiled many of its new products, such as new televisions, for CES 2025 in December.
