Late friction – Bionicoldguy

Although we have only been from the official start of the summer for a few weeks, the weather has been cool lately, a good time to drive. I have recently been able to drive three -hour trips without Ischias symptoms routinely to three hours. I did a lot of PT work to keep the nerve openings open in my lower spine and strengthen the surrounding muscles to support the area. Apart from that, I avoided long hard trips. It is either a long brisk cruise or hard things like intervals and strength training on shorter days. It not only avoids symptoms, I enjoy this combination.

Most of my riding is still on my lying. I only drive shorter trips on my upright. I still have to harden my butt for longer running because it became soft when I couldn’t drive as much when my sciatica flared up for the last time. I fix that to repair it.
