Last Tuesday, December 30th, was our last group ride of the year. I took on the role of leader and led the group southwest of Morgan Hill to the end of Redwood Retreat Road and back. It was a nice drive, the rains from the previous week had stopped, but it was getting a little gray because another series of storms was on the way.

On Wednesday I secretly took myself along while it was still raining sporadically. I stopped my ride when the main storm hit and finished the ride on my indoor bike. Thursday was my first ride of the new year. It was gray but it wasn’t raining yet (that happened later in the day) so I was able to get a decent ride there.
Yesterday we unexpectedly had some sunshine between the storms, so I had a nice two hour drive and started the new year well. I took some video footage during this ride and all the images below are stills from the videos which are of decent quality.
