Lara Trump, the daughter-in-law of US President-elect Donald Trump, has withdrawn her name from running for a Senate seat.
She resigned as co-chair of the Republican National Committee (RNC) this month, fueling speculation that she could replace outgoing Sen. Marco Rubio, a Florida Republican whom Trump nominated for secretary of state.
