The Akdital Group, head of the private health sector in Morocco, announced the conclusion of the takeover of the international Polyclinique de Laâyoune and the Al Hikma Medical Center in the same city after the agency of the competition board.
In a statement, the group said that this phase “the culmination of a strategic process that has strengthened the supply of care in the Laâyoune-Sakia el Hamra region, 11th region of the kingdom in this phase, in the Laâyoune-Sakia region in the 11th region of the kingdom”. Note that the transaction was successfully carried out, which formalized the passage of these two facilities in the fold of the Akdital group.
The Al Hikma Medical Center is a multidisciplinary health facility with a capacity of 76 beds. The structure is now fully functional under the administration of Akdital. As for the international poly clinic of Laâyoune, which has a capacity of 240 beds, it is in the equipment phase in the foreplay for the commissioning planned for May 2, 2025.
This hospital offers a wide range of services that cover several important specialties, including cardiology, oncology (medicine and radiation therapy), neurosurgery, pediatrics, orthopedic surgery, gynecology obscure, sports medicine and internal medicine.
The group listed at the Casablanca Stock Exchange since December 2022 has a capacity of 4,148 beds, through 36 facilities in 21 cities in the kingdom and employs more than 7,500 people.
