Real Housewives of Potomac star Karen Huger was found guilty of multiple counts related to a DUI incident in March 2024. The verdict came after a two-day trial in Maryland in which the jury deliberated for more than five hours before reaching its decision.

Body camera footage presented in court showed an officer reporting Karen that she was being “hammered,” to which she responded, “They’re cops – I hate you, you know that?”

Karen’s Attorney A. Scott Bolden expressed disappointment in the jury’s verdict but acknowledged its decision. In a statement about it PEOPLEBolden said, “Although we are disappointed with the jury’s verdict, we obviously respect their decision and appreciate that they took the time to hear our case.” He added that they are reserving Karen’s Right of appeal and intend to “fully seek justice on their behalf.”
