Kanye West racks up a huge property tax bill
West has accumulated a massive property tax debt totaling about $365,000 in unpaid taxes on at least six of his properties.
Although the exact timeline for the unpaid taxes remains unclear, reports suggest that West’s tax bill was compounded by $3,272 in monthly penalties.
According to the US SunThe “Donda” rapper must also pay up to $82,662 by April 10 for some of his Los Angeles properties. Otherwise, he will be punished with even more money by the Los Angeles County Treasurer and Tax Collector.
It remains unclear whether he intends to settle the debt or contest the allegations during his extended absence from the country.

A breakdown of the rapper’s property tax law
West has racked up the largest tax bill on his $6.7 million Yeezy headquarters in West Hollywood, which sits empty after the roof was torn off for reconstruction.
The total arrears on the abandoned property are $161,071, with the rapper also being fined $1,435 per month.
He also owes about $39,500, or $358 a month in fines, for a church building he purchased in Northridge for $1.5 million. According to the US SunWest has paid no taxes on the property since purchasing it in January 2023.
His six-bedroom, six-and-a-half bathroom ranch house in Calabasas is also in debt, with the Vultures 1 owing $94,364 and paying a fine of $1,103 per month.

West’s second home in Calabasas, a three-bedroom, four-bathroom property, has a tax liability of $51,179 as of 2023 and penalties of $1,013 per month. The rapper received both properties as part of his divorce from ex-wife Kim Kardashian.
A three-bedroom Westlake townhouse he owns is also $6,240 delinquent since December, as is his $14.5 million ranch in Wyoming, which owes $13,215 in taxes, with the Penalty costs are unknown.

Kanye West bought a new mansion in Beverly Hills
It comes as the rapper recently purchased a sprawling Beverly Hills mansion for $35 million.

He and his wife Bianca Censori have reportedly yet to move into the stunning property despite his extended absence from the country, reportedly for fear of facing several mounting lawsuits against him.

The rapper’s wife wants “stability”
There were previously rumors that West and Censori were divorcing as the Australian beauty reportedly wanted “stability” in her marriage.
However, these rumors were quashed after the couple bought their new home together.
