Justin Timberlake just gave new meaning to his 2006 song “What Goes Around…Comes Around.”
The Grammy-winning singer, who is currently on his Forget Tomorrow World Tour, was performing at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee on Thursday, December 12, when he suffered a wardrobe malfunction was tied to a tight-fitting harness and went viral.
A TikTok video The video, filmed by a concertgoer, showed Timberlake, 43, trying to adjust himself in the harness, which caused a stir among fans as it inadvertently highlighted his groin area.

In the clip, Timberlake was seen pulling at the bottom of his shirt to cover the area. The harness will be used for his performance of “Mirrors,” in which he serenades the crowd from a suspended platform.
The video’s comments section contained several jokes comparing Timberlake’s faux pas to a similar mishap Chris Brown he experienced during his 1:11 tour in Canada last summer. At the time, The Daily Mail reported an accident that highlighted Brown’s “masculinity.” The Hollywood Reportsr shared a video of the singer who hung in the air in the middle of the concert.
Of course, it also brought to mind the infamous 2004 incident involving Timberlake Janet JacksonAt the end of the Super Bowl XXXVIII halftime show, he had a wardrobe malfunction after ripping off part of her clothing that was covering her chest.
Timberlake initially said, “Hey man, we love giving you all something to talk about.” However, his tone changed as the situation became more tense, prompting both him and MTV to release statements saying they acknowledged the incident.
In his statement, Timberlake said: “I’m sorry if anyone was offended by the wardrobe malfunction during the Super Bowl halftime performance. “It was unintentional and is regrettable.”
Meanwhile, MTV said: “The tearing of Janet Jackson’s costume was unrehearsed, unplanned, completely unintentional and did not correspond to the assurances we had about the content of the performance. “MTV regrets this incident and apologizes to anyone who was offended by it.”
The next week, Timberlake apologized at the Grammy Awards, saying that Jackson’s nipple had been accidentally exposed and should have been covered by a bright red brassiere.
