The government council pursued a presentation of the government’s employment plan, which was transferred by Younes Sekkouri, Minister of Economic Integration, Small Company, Employment and Skillers. This plan benefits from an exceptional budget envelope of 14 billion dirham for 2025 to cope with the structural challenges of the labor market that are reinforced by climate change, the Covvi-19 crisis and the global geopolitical tensions.
Fruit of six months of consultations with economic and social actors, this plan, revolves around several important axes. It provides for increased support in investing, especially for SMEs, to promote the creation of jobs. At the same time, the restructuring of active employment programs will expand its action area to unpalomed, whereby a new offer from anapec and a learning training system is adapted to the market requirement.
The government also emphasizes employment in rural areas by local income generation projects that are intended for small farmers and breeders. A reform of the training courses and a better governance of the labor market are also the focus of the system, whereby the Follow -Up is guaranteed by an Inter -Ministerial Committee, chaired by the government manager.
The discussions about this strategic plan continue with the view of the upcoming introduction. The goal: to give a new dynamic in Morocco and to meet the expectations of the various economic and social actors.
