Jennifer Aydin responds to her firing from Housewives Cruise after disgusting tirade from Jersey Mike
Jennifer Aydin breaks her silence after being kicked off the Housewives Cruise over her controversy Jersey Mike’s Incident at the airport.
The last few weeks have been anything but smooth Jennifer Aydin. According to her, controversial Jersey Mike’s The airport video went viral over New Year’s Eve, The Real Housewives of New Jersey The star faced backlash and consequences for his career, including being removed from the Fans at Sea Ultimate Housewives Cruise. Now, Jennifer breaks her silence and explains why she is approaching the situation calmly.
Jennifer talks about being banned from the cruise
Jennifer was originally intended for accession Teresa Giudice And Dolores Catania on the Fans at Sea Ultimate Housewives Cruise in September. The viral video of their heated encounter at a Jersey Mike’s Sandwich shop at the airport led to the cruise line cutting ties with her. The company has since announced that a surprise guest will be taking her place.
In an interview with Us weekly, Jennifer revealed that she found out she had been dumped while on vacation. “Someone had informed me (while on vacation) that I had been banned from the cruise. I had no idea,” she shared.
Jennifer explained that her manager intentionally delayed telling her the news. “My manager didn’t want to tell me. She didn’t want anything to ruin my trip. Then I went to the website and realized my name wasn’t there. And guess what? I handled it like a champ.”
She also revealed that she disagreed with the cruise line’s decision as she knew it was a business move.
“This is a business and this is their business and I don’t want them to get any backlash because of me,” she said. “The cruise was a fun idea for me because I love the opportunity to connect with the fans, but it’s all good.”
Jennifer admitted that the timing of the cruise wasn’t ideal for her family anyway. “The kids are going back to school this week and my kids have already complained about me committing to this,” she added.
“Everything happens for a reason. I understand that it is purely a business matter and I respect the cruise’s decision.”
Statement on cruise line issues
The Fans at Sea team also commented Jennifer’s distance in a statement, emphasizing that her decision was not personal.
“This decision was neither personal nor an act of cancellation by anyone,” the cruise line said. “At Fans at Sea we believe in second chances and personal growth. Our priority is to create a drama-free, entertaining experience for everyone. To ensure this, we have made adjustments to make the cruise comfortable and welcoming for all guests.”
Jennifer reflects on the viral video
While the consequences of the Jersey Mike’s incident was significant, Jennifer claims her frustrations during the airport ordeal were shared by others in line.
“I’ll call a spade a spade. The staff was extremely dismissive, not only towards me but towards everyone else on that line. Everyone was frustrated,” she explained.
However, Jennifer admitted that sharing the video was a mistake.
“I am someone who takes full responsibility and accountability for my actions. If I feel like I’m wrong, I shouldn’t have posted it,” she said. “I just want people to know that this came from a very frustrated mother who just wanted to escape with her children.”
Despite the controversy, Jennifer seems ready to move on, accepting her role in the situation and understanding the consequences. Fans can see her in previous seasons of The Real Housewives of New Jersey Stream now on Peacock.
