Jax Taylor Gets Full Credit for The Valley, Criticizes Lisa Vanderpump’s Role as Producer!
Jax Taylor stirs the pot again and claims he is the mastermind behind it The valley, I get full credit for pitching and popping the show Lisa Vanderpump for having “no part” in it – despite her producer title.
“So that’s how it all went down.” Jax wrote in the caption of a 2021 Instagram photo featuring himself and the executive producer Alex Baskin. “About two years after I left VanderpumpI decided it was time to return to television but wasn’t sure what I wanted to do.”
“What if we put on a show at the ‘canyon‘Dealing with our lives afterwards Vanderpump,, Jax called back. “That means starting families, getting married, living in the suburbs and so on. I explore more topics that I think are relevant to the audience.”
Jax continued: “One very cold evening I told the girls and decided to meet (Alex) in a hotel we both love @hotel_amarano and I wanted to present this idea to him.” “This (photo) was that night on November 11, 2021 –Ryan and I put together a show/cast at one of our favorite places @casavegarestaurant.”
“The work we put into it was insane.” Jax approved. “But we also learned a lot about what it takes and how hard it is to start a successful show. And now it’s 2025 and we have season 2 of “The valley‘ on the horizon.
As a fan asked Lisa Vanderpumps role as producer, Jax didn’t hold back. “It’s a spin-off so she’s always mentioned – that’s how television works,” he explained. “She has no part in the show.”
The topic Lala Kent And Scheana Shay came up when another fan suggested keeping her away The valley. Jax replied thoughtfully, acknowledging her talents. “I think so Lala And Scheana are great at what they do,” he said.
“To be honest, we keep the same formula Vanderpump. I’m trying to make the show as authentic as possible, and if that means having episodes with cast members from the past and present, then so be it. That’s the beauty of keeping Vanderpump/Valley alive for the fans who enjoy the show.”
A fan asked if the idea for The valley had been in the works long before, or more precisely, after Stassi Schroeder Wedding.
Jax confirmed that it was initially just an idea, but only later took hold. “Unfortunately it was just talk at the time,” he admitted. “But nothing came of it until later.”
As The valley is preparing for its second season, that’s clear Jax is proud of the work he did to bring this project to life – despite the drama and mixed opinions surrounding the show and its cast.
