An international airport and a power plant in Yemen were among the targets of a series of airstrikes launched by Israel on Thursday.
According to Houthi media, three people were killed and more than a dozen injured in the attacks.
Footage from the airport in the capital Sannaa showed chaos in the terminal as passengers fled while an air traffic control tower was damaged.
There was a major fire at a power plant in the port city of Hodeidah.
The Iran-backed Houthi rebel group described the attacks as “barbaric.”
In a statement, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said its “warplanes carried out intelligence-supported attacks on military targets of the Houthi terror regime on the western coast and inland of Yemen.”
