The Gaza civil protection authority has reported that Israel carried out dozens of air strikes and artillery fire in Gaza City -despite the demands by the American President Donald Trump to stop bombing after Hamas partially accepts acceptance of an armistice contract.
“It was a very violent night in which the (Israeli army) performed dozens of air raids and artillery in Gaza city and other areas in the strip, even though President Trump’s call for the bomb attack,” said the spokesman for civil defense, Mahmoud Basal, AFP.
Basal, who works for a rescue power, said 20 houses were destroyed overnight during the attacks.
The Al-Ali Hospital of Gaza City, also known as Baptist Hospital, reported that he had received victims of a strike in a house in the city of Tuffah in Tuffah, including four deaths and several injured people.
In the Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, civil servants confirmed that two children were killed and eight people were wounded when a drone hit a tent in a displacement camp.
The proposal for Gaza presented by Trump this week with the support of Israeli Prime Minister describes a ceasefire, the release of prisoners within 72 hours, the disarmament of the Hamas and a phase -violated Israeli withdrawal from Gaza.
On Friday, Hamas expressed the willingness to publish prisoners who were held in Gaza as part of the Trump Plan, but called for negotiations on some details and participation in decisions about the future of the Palestinian territory.
