Paramedics treated 14 people with minor injuries from shrapnel, and some were taken to hospital, the emergency service said in a statement.
Israeli police reported reports of a rocket crashing in a city in the Tel Aviv area.
Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthis group has repeatedly fired drones and rockets at Israel in what they describe as acts of solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza.
On Thursday, Israel launched attacks against ports and energy infrastructure in Houthi-controlled parts of Yemen and threatened further attacks against the Yemeni group.
