Rabat-the Moroccan telecommunications operators Inwi has announced new and improved fiber optic internal packages to make the high-speed internet more affordable and accessible across the country.
All current fiber conceptions are automatically upgraded to higher speeds without taking measures or paying additional measures, Inwi said in a press release according to the steps of the competitor Maroc Telecom, which made A similar announcement yesterday.
According to the ENTI, one of the biggest updates is the introduction of a new 500 Mbit / s plan for MAD 749 per month. Customers can soon subscribe to a 1 -Gbit / s plan for MAD 949.
These high-speed options are aimed at households with strong internet use such as streaming, online games and remote work.
Inwi has also reduced the prices for its existing fiber internet plans. The 50 -Mbit / s plan now costs MAD 299 per month from MAD 349, while the 100 -Mbit / s plan now costs MAD 349 per month instead of MAD 449.
The 200 -Mbit / S plan recorded the greatest drop in price from MAD 649 to MAD 449 per month.
In addition, more regions in Morocco now have access to the Fibre network from INWI.
The company was reminiscent of the introduction of WLAN 7 in March 2025. This new technology offers a faster internet in the house at a speed of up to four times higher than before, lower delay (latency) and more consistent cover in any room, explains the explanation.
Maroc Telecom sent an SMS to his customers and informed them that they would benefit from a fiber boost. “Your speed doubles to 200 Mbit / s,” was the message and added that no action is required and that it is not loaded for the thrust.
The operator said that the step aims to improve streaming, playing and remote professional experience of the users. Customers will “enjoy more fluidity and speed in the high -speed network of Maroc Telecom,” added.
