The Control Authority (Insurance and Social Provident Control Authority) and the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) strengthen their cooperation in the field of insurance supervision. From April 14th to 17th, 2025, the authority welcomes a high delegation of the NAIC, a mission is a continuation of the strategic partnership that is involved between the two institutions in this area. With this visit, both parties can hold working meetings, exchange expertise and identify new types of cooperation.
The NAIC visit also includes meetings with several important actors in the national financial landscape that illustrate the common desire to enrich the cooperation with regard to topics such as market regulation and insured persons. It marks a new step in the dynamics of cooperation between the two institutions. It consolidates a bilateral dialogue that has been initiated for a long time, in particular by signing a memorandum of understanding between the acaps and the NAIC in January 2019 in Key Largo, which relates to technical collaboration and the exple bump.
