Pereira said that she came to the scene with the Chief Marketing Officer Vanessa Camones while talking to an experienced risk capital. Infinite Realms started as a back -end for unleash, but now it is expressed by itself.
“Infinite Realms is a backend-ki-controlled engine that records book manuscripts and transform them into living, breathing worlds that they can play,” said Pereira. “We will be able to licens these intellectual properties for each game studio so that you can make your own games based on this IPS. It is essentially a AI-controlled license machine for IPS. “
Solution of the biggest creativity problems in the industry
Pereira said the company rejected some of the major problems in the industry. Creating games is too expensive, original IP is risky, and players are fed up with sequels. Platform fees take out profits from the business. The result is layoffs between game developers and unfortunate players.
“The way to solve this problem is to literally chop the spread and find new ways to reach the players to connect them with their favorite worlds. These may not have the economy that are considered worthy by an EA or a Microsoft because the income is too small. For us, however, they are the right size to gain access to the IP with a large integrated audience, ”said Pereira.
She added: “We want to connect fans with their favorite authors.”
And she said that some authors are their personal friends. They sold up to 40 million books, their IPs won prices and they were in the bestseller lists of the New York Times. Some fans have been owned by these IPs for decades and consider them the core for their own personalities.
“The people who love these books are Mega fans and would have the opportunity to play one of these stories,” said Pereira. “So we built an engine that can take these books and transform them into a gaming experience, and then we create this wonderful virtuous cycle in which these book lovers go into our game, and we use this to advance a larger audience that turns over and drives more book sales for book sales that we know, but perhaps a relief collector for the past 20 years because they have been lost for the time. “
Revived forgotten worlds
The company knows that these communities and the fandom still exist and it is possible to reinvent this in a new generation with games. With AI, the company can shorten the game development time and reduce costs by using large language models (LLMS) that are tailored to every world.
Infinite Realms can bring the author’s work to an individual LLM, which partly belongs to the author and the company. This LLM can not only be licensed to other game studios, but also to players who want to have their own individual experiences.
It is also interesting to test how small and efficient an LLM can be and can still have intelligence. The LLM contains a number of traditions, but it must also have a basis for intelligence or enough data to create an extensive awareness, so to speak, so that she knows how to talk about the tradition. The LLM can have talks with the fans, and fans can feed more data and create more traditions for the LLM.
“The possibilities are endless, and the same workflow and the same partnerships that we have developed with unleashed games in order to create worlds pretty much on flying, can make it possible for us to build games super quickly in just six months because we have already sorted out the gameplay,” said Pereira.
She said that people in the past would buy books and maybe these books would be adapted to films and television. Game of Thrones and Wheel of Time are some great examples.
“But with infinite areas we are building AI -driven worlds that you can get in and interact with some of these characters in which you fell in love with at the age of 15,” said Pereira. “And by doing this, we create what we call the Netflix of living worlds.”
I found that the owners of Time put all 14 books in the series in an LLM that they can provide for user -generated content and players. It can have encyclopedic answers for the questions of the fans, but it can also serve as a Canon police for everyone that creates a new experience with tradition.
Things that players create with the tools can be as easy as an environment video or screen saver in a television. Or it could be used to create a full game – the entire range of potential experiences.
“We can see how these scales, as there are so many other IPs and they see that we are a digital bookshelf,” she said. “You could go from one world to another and we open the player to collect these books. So we again become a digital publisher, in which we take these properties in printed form, and we essentially use them as the beginning of our Transmedia strategy and then transform them into playable experiences. “
IP be respectful
Everything is done with the approval of the authors, and the LLMs themselves can rule what the players can do or not. Of course, JRR Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings is the biggest fantasy franchise, but there are others like Terry Brooks’ The Sword of Shannara, which has reached 40 million fans, except for smaller ones who have sold a few million. The latter are easier and cheaper to work.
“We are essentially a digital publisher,” said Pereira. “We can deepen our relationships and use the data” to make better decisions about marketing and selecting new IPs.
She added: “This is a great cycle where we could use our platform to revive the book publication industry.”
Pereira increases a financing round and hopes to achieve this by getting in line with some of the fantasy authors.
Developed games will probably search for their own money for Haven and Infinite Realms will expand their own business. Companies can use the same technology, but can still be positioned separately. Infinite Realms has 18 people and a partner among AI developers who also helps.
