The Indian women’s cricket team is in full swing in the ongoing white-ball tournament series against the West Indies at home. After winning the T20I series, India Women continued their dominance in the ongoing three-match ODI series against the West Indies women’s cricket team.
Indian girls won the first ODI by 211 runs and will now look to extend their dominance in the ongoing second ODI against West Indies Women on Tuesday, December 24 at the Vadodara International Cricket Stadium. The ongoing ODI series is part of the ICC Women’s Championship.
India Women dominated the West Indies with a record score of 358/5 in the second ODI

Indian openers Smriti Mandhan and Pratika Rawal gave India Women a flying start as they added 110 runs off 99 balls before senior batsman Karishma Ramharack scored 53 runs off 47 balls, peppered with seven boundaries and two sixes, against the West Indies expired.
Pratika Rawal and Harleen Deol then combined to put together another partnership of 62 runs off 75 balls to set the solid stage for the middle order before Zaida James led the India Women opener with a stunning 76 runs off 86 Balls, including ten, finished boundaries and a single maximum.
Harleen Deol scores her highest ODI score against West Indies Women
Well, Harleen Deol continued her work and added 43 runs for the third wicket along with captain Harmanpreet Kaur who lost just 22 runs to Afy Fletcher in the ongoing second ODI against West Indies. By now it was time for Jemimah Rodrigues and Harleen Deol Show.
The duo created the remarkable fourth wicket partnership of 116 runs off 71 balls to ensure India Women posted a challenging record against Caribbean Women. While Jemimah Rodrigues (52) lost to Deantra Dottin after completing her fifty, Harleen Deol smoked a stunning century but Qiana Joseph abandoned her innings with 115 off 123 balls.
Harleen Deol smashed 16 boundaries during her masterclass against West Indies in the ongoing second ODI match at the Vadodara International Cricket Stadium. Later, Rich Gosh (13*) and Deepti Sharma (4*) added an unbeaten 17 runs off 10 balls to take India to 358/5 on the board against the West Indies.

It was India’s highest total for women in ODI cricket. Furthermore, the Indian women’s cricket team has rewritten the record books with incredible batting dominance in 2024. The Indian women recorded three mammoth 300-plus totals in ODI cricket this year, surpassing their previous best of two 300-plus scores in 2022.
The Indian women’s team has also crossed the 200-run mark twice in ODIs this year, a milestone it has not achieved in its history. Currently, India is hoping for another big win over the West Indies after taking three wickets by just 40 runs.
