The Abbott Elementary School The cast is excited to finally reveal their highly anticipated crossover It’s always sunny in Philadelphia – but what can fans expect?

During an exclusive interview with Us weekly at the Out100 event 2024 on Wednesday, December 11th, Lisa Ann Walter teased the upcoming two-episode arc.

“There’s a lot of stupidity and shenanigans that happen when these people come on set,” said Walter, 61 Us. “You’re much less constrained by the words on the page, so we have a lot of fun. It’s going to be a lot of fun.”

Walter, who plays Melissa, recalled that “there was so much going on.” The two shows mixed together.

“I actually really enjoyed talking to all of them outside of the characters,” she continued. “Anytime we have guest stars come in – whether they’re as big and famous as these guys or not – I love hearing their story.” But with them it was just about talking about it a lot, where their children went to school.”

Abbott Elementary Schoolwhich debuted in 2021, focuses on teachers at a public school in Philadelphia. After premiering on ABC, the sitcom quickly gained critical acclaim and received numerous awards, including the Golden Globe and Emmy Awards.

Ever since Abbott Elementary became one of the fans’ favorite series surprised fans with many prominent guest stars. The cast of It’s always sunny in Philadelphia is the latest addition to the star-studded cameo list Charlie Day, Rob McElhenney, Kaitlin Olson And Danny DeVito is expected to release later this season.

It’s always sunny premiered on FX in 2005 and chronicles the debauched activities of a group of narcissistic friends and Philadelphia bar owners. “I think it will be a joy for the audience of both shows,” she shared in September. “I think it’s going to be very exciting for people who see our shows, and if they see one show and not the other, I think that’s cool too.”
