“Under the Biden-Harris Administration, of the more than 250 illegal aliens on the Terrorist Watch List (sic) encountered by Border Patrol at the Southwest border between fiscal years 2021 and 2023, DHS released at least 99 into American communities.” At least 34 additional individuals are in DHS custody but have not yet been removed from the United States,” the Republican report on the Judiciary Committee said of the House of Representatives, a copy of which was first obtained by Fox News Digital.

The staff interim report also found that immigration judges granted bail to at least 27 watchlist migrants who entered illegally and that Border Patrol encountered tens of thousands of migrants from countries that could pose a national security risk, including 2,134 Afghan nationals and 33,347 Chinese nationals, 541 Iranian nationals, 520 Syrian nationals and 3,104 Uzbek nationals.

“This does not include the countless potential terrorists who have evaded Border Patrol to enter the United States since the beginning of the year, out of nearly two million escape attempts the Biden-Harris administration,” says the report.

The report, based on information provided to committee staff in June, also found that the Border Patrol encountered migrants on the terror watch list from 36 different countries, including locations with an active terrorist presence. These countries include Afghanistan, Iraq, Lebanon, Pakistan, Somalia, Syria, Tajikistan and Yemen.

“As national security experts and immigration officials become increasingly concerned about the threat of terrorism posed at the border, it is clear that policymakers must take all necessary steps to secure the border and stop the flow of illegal immigrants. “However, the Biden-Harris administration has refused to address the national security nightmare created by its radical open borders agenda,” the report said.
