Dana White, the President and CEO of the UFC, remembered Pro Wrestling icon Hulk Hogan Thursday evening after his death in Florida.
White appeared on Fox News Channel’s “Jesse Watter’s Primetime” And reflected Hogan’s appearance on the Republican National Convention. He said he was in a kid rock that was waiting to go on stage when Hogan asked him to speak to him.
“Hulk Hogan grabbed me and asked me if he could speak to me privately for a second,” said White. “And he pulled me aside and I will never forget that conversation that we had that night.

“He was a good man. He was something special. He loved the president and of course he loved America.”
White gave Hogan, Muhammad Ali, Don King and the world of martial arts and sports entertainment in this era to help what the UFC is today.
“The way the UFC is today and the things I did to build it have a small piece of all these boys and their shops,” added White.
Clearwater’s police said civil servants were called in an emergency in Hogan’s house. The Pro -Wrestler was taken to a hospital and died about an hour later. Hogan was 71.
Hogan’s death sent waves in the world of sports entertainment. White was just one of dozens of people who paid tribute to the WWE icon all day.
“WWE is sad that the WWE -Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan died,” said WWE in an explanation. “One of the best -known personalities of pop culture and Hogan helped the WWE to achieve global recognition in the 1980s.

“WWE extends Hogan’s family, friends and fans his condolences.”
An explanation was published on Hogan’s Instagram page.
“With a heavy heart and deep sadness, we confirm that we have lost a legend,” said the post. “Our beloved Terry Bollea, which is known worldwide as Hulk Hogan, is now surrounded by his loved ones.
“During this time of grief we ask that everyone respect the privacy of his family and friends. We like all consolation in the wonderful memories that he has left for millions of fans worldwide whose lives he has touched for more than four decades. He will be missed, but never forgotten.”
Hogan was a large survival character that changed the pro-wrestling several times. First, when he Andre, the giant at Wrestlemania III, and again when he switched on wrestling fans and aligned himself with the new world order in the wrestling of the World Cup.

He was six times WWE championThe Royal Rumble won twice and was included in the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005 and was included in the NWO in 2020. He was also six-time world champions in WCW and the IWGP champion in New Japan.
