AFTER another flawless performance from Canelo Alvarez last night, no one can argue that he is currently the pound-for-pound best boxer in the world.
I’ve created a video below telling you all about where I think Alvarez stands in the TBE (The Best Ever) category, and I’m sure my option on this will shock the most.
During his fight last night, I thought Avni Yildirim’s style was tailor-made for Canelo. But then I thought to myself whose style isn’t made for Canelo. He has dominated so many of his opponents except Floyd Mayweather, but that was when Alvarez was only 23 years old.
Alvarez is the most advanced fighter I have ever seen. He’s getting better and better.
Now he was going to compete against my Olympian and friend Billy Joe SaundersI think that’s the one fight out there that everyone wants to see.
And I’m so excited about it. Will Canelo finally meet someone with the style to stop him from continuing to make history, or will he go on and be the greatest of all time?
