Rabat-the Moroccan runners Anass Essayi wrote history after broke the national record for the 3,000-meter indoor race at the French athletics meeting in Levin.
Essayi campaigned in 7 minutes and 32.45 seconds and defeated the record of 7: 33.73 from the Olympic legend Hicham El Guerrouj in 2003.
