Snowfall, heavy rains sometimes stormy with local hail and strong gusts of wind are planned for Monday in several provinces of the kingdom, which have announced the general direction of meteorology (DGM).
The snowfall over 1,600 m between 20 and 40 cm will be preserved on Monday until 11 p.m., the provinces of Ifrane, Azilal, Béni Mellal, Taza and Midelt, said the DGM in a bulletin with orange levels. The snowfall from 05 to 10 cm will affect Guercif, Boulemane, Sefrou, Al Hceima, Chefchaouen, Khénifra, Al Haouz, Ouarzazate, Tinghir, Chichaoua and Taroudant in the same period.
The heavy rains (60 to 90 mm), sometimes stormy with local hail, will be affected on Monday to 6 p.m. on Monday the provinces of Tanger-Assilah, Fahs-Anjran, M’diq-Fnideq, Chefchaouen, Tétouan, Taunate, Taza, Overzane, Larauen and Al Hceisma, and Al Hoceima. This phenomenon of the orange alarm level is also provided from 00 to 3 p.m. in the provinces of Ifrane, Béni Mellal, Azilal and Khénifra, whereby the precipitation between 30 and 50 mm owing the DGM.
In addition, the gusts of wind (70 to 85 km/h) with orange vigilance level for Monday from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. in Chefchaouen, Al Hceima, Tétouan, Boulemane, Midelt and Figuig are planned.
