Hazem Qassem, the spokesman for Hamas, said on Saturday morning that negotiations for the second phase have not yet started and that communication with mediators has not yet been completed.

Hamas repeated His willingness to complete a comprehensive exchange of prisoners in a single deal based on a final end of the war, the withdrawal of the Israeli forces and the reconstruction of Gaza.
The Palestinian group emphasized The guarantee of future exchange depends on the commitment of Israel for the remaining conditions of the agreement and the implementation of the humanitarian protocol.
The Hamas added: “It has passed 33 days since the beginning of the first phase, but the professions did not fully implement all of its provisions.” It further described the situation in the Gaza as “catastrophic” and asked the mediators to put Israel under pressure in order to implement the humanitarian protocol.
