How the action develops
Tottenham pursued a fourth successive Premier League victory. In the meantime, City hoped to withdraw against the league leaders Liverpool after a 2-0 defeat against Liverpool on Sunday.
It promised to be an interesting encounter between two teams that were among the most exciting unpredictable league this season.
Even the team selection offered an early intrigue: son Heung-Min, Djed Spence and Dejan Kulusevski warmed the trace bank, while there was a return to the city that started for Haaland Elf to Haaland after it was absent in the last two games.
And it took less than a quarter of an hour before the returning Norwegian found the back of the network and this season according to Jeremy Dokus Fadenpass fell a goal of the 20th League to give Guardiola’s lead.
Haaland’s finish was clinical, but the backline Spurs offered the highly towering striker too much space and he confidently typed home.

City looked smooth. But they had kicked themselves because they would not have increased their leadership before the break after both Savinho and Haaland missed good chances.
Tottenham had the goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario thanked for having kept the goal line respectable, and the Italian pulling a number of important parades when Spurs looked shaky.
The second half began in the same way, the city enjoyed most of the property and its hosts fought to contain them.
However, Spurs finally started promising. Shortly before the hour, the hosts made a great chance to stand out, but Wilson Odobert could not convert Pedro Porros teasing ball.
It was a spark that seemed to ignite the London side. Rodrigo Bentancur saw how his header was saved before Mathys Tel. A wonderful opportunity when Spurs looked like those who could kick themselves.
Haaland had excluded a second goal in the interruption, previously in death, as a Spurs replacement in Pape Sarr, whereby the gate went over the shelf with the gate and tightened a night with ‘What would be for Spurs’.
City recorded all three points in a classic game of half.
