Guelmim-Oued noun: An AMI to support income-generating activities

The Guelmim-Oued Noun Regional Council has launched a Call for Expressions of Interest (AMI) to support income-generating activities (AGR) for the benefit of women in difficult situations and people with disabilities.

This program, whose total cost reaches DH20 million, is the result of a partnership between the Regional Council, the Wilaya of the region, the Ministry of Solidarity, Social Integration and Family, the Agency for Social Development and National Assistance. The aim is to promote the empowerment of women, the support of women’s cooperatives in the region and the economic integration of people with disabilities. A total of 3,000 beneficiaries and 300 women’s cooperatives in the various provinces of the region will be targeted.

The program is funded by the ministry and the region. Another focus of the project is to diversify and expand the marketing of products, in particular the establishment of an electronic platform, support in obtaining a health certificate and the craft seal, as well as strengthening management, technical and commercial capacities…
