On Tuesday my group took a brisk trip southeast, visiting a small farm along the way where they kept two large pigs. It was a cold but beautiful day and a warm soup lunch was welcome afterwards.
I just caught the tip of the female pig Petunia. Her companion Harold was impatient for lunch and was busy putting a large metal feeding trough in his mouth and banging it against the fence. Unfortunately I didn’t take a recording of it.
Yesterday was one of my tough rides, up to Hellyer Velodrome on the Coyote Creek Trail and then back home for a little under three hours of riding. I rode almost at a high pace for the first two hours, then did interval and bike training on the way home. I was definitely tired when I got home, mostly pleasant.
Outside the Hellyer VelodromeA beautiful day in Hellyer Park
