Morocco has its digital ambitions in the international scene. On the sidelines of the 3ᵉ edition of the Gitex Africa Marocco, the minister said that Amal El Fellah Seghrouchni now wants to play the kingdom in terms of technologies and digital solutions through an ambitious digital strategy “in the big leagues”.
The Roadmap “Morocco Digital 2030” is the basis of this vision. The aim is to speed up the digital transformation, to gain investments and to position the country as a supplier of exportable technological solutions at regional and international level. Under the concrete results, the selection of Morocco strengthens the UNDP to greet the Arabic-African digital hub, which is devoted to artificial intelligence and data sciences. A regional excellence center is born, which increases the role of Morocco as an important player in the innovation on the continent.
The Gitex Africa Marocco 2025, which places under the high patronage of its majesty king Mohammed VI, shows this ambition. With more than 1,500 exhibitors, 800 startups and 650 institutions, the event confirms the rise of the kingdom in the African digital ecosystem.
