Morocco has retained its 50th place in the 2025 edition of the “Global Soft Power Index” and thus positioned itself as the most influential Maghreb country and among African leaders.
The kingdom has recorded significant progress in “science and education” (+11 places) and “people and values” (+6 places) that evaluate generosity and tolerance. They have also experienced improvements in the areas of “media and communication” and “governance”.
It is known that this ranking lists the soft power according to various criteria such as governance, education and international relationships based on surveys that were carried out with more than 170,000 people around the world. The United States dominates the ranking worldwide, followed by China and the United Kingdom.
