Georgia Southern projected the starting lineup and depth chart for the New Orleans Bowl

The Georgia Southern Eagles (8-4) meet the Sam Houston Bearkats (9-3) on Thursday night in the 2024 New Orleans Bowl. The game will take place at Caesars Superdome, with kickoff scheduled for 7:00 p.m. ET.

Under coach Clay Helton, the Eagles secured their third straight bowl appearance. However, they have yet to achieve a win as their last two bowl games, the 2022 Camellia Bowl and 2023 Myrtle Beach, ended in losses. However, they come into this game with some momentum and a win against Appalachian State in the regular season finale.
