Rabat – France’s Minister of Culture Rachida Dati arrived in South Morocco on Monday to attend an official visit together with her Moroccan counterpart Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid.
The trip follows France’s recognition of Morocco’s autonomy plan About the region and reflects a change in cultural and political engagement.

The tour was expanded to Dakhla, where the two ministers opened a new branch of the High Institute of Audiovisual and Cinema Professions (ISMAC).
The center will train young experts in cinema and media, improve the creative industry Morocco and offer means to access cultural training in the region.
