Fortnite Festival will support local multiplayer starting Tuesday, January 14th, meaning you can sit in a room with your friends and jam together on plastic guitar controllers like the good old days. Of course, most of us probably don’t have plastic guitars anymore, but regular controllers work just fine too. The feature comes to Xbox and PlayStation, and Festival Main Stage mode supports up to four local players simultaneously. Maybe it’s the nostalgia, but rules like that?

For those who don’t know: Fortnite Festival is a rhythm game developed by Harmonix (best known for Rock Band and the early Guitar Hero titles) for Epic. The initial release took place at the end of 2023. In addition to normal controllers, the game also supports Rock band 4 Guitar controllers on Xbox, PlayStation and PC as well as the recently released PDP Riffmaster.
