Capello tears in Guardiola
He told the Spanish newspaper El Mundo: “He damaged football enormously.
“Everyone has spent 10 years to copy it. This happened in Italian football, which has lost its identity. The absurd idea of playing well is to keep the possession.

“Why will you see 90 minutes of horizontal passports without a fight?”
Guardiola is “arrogant” – Capello
Capello also repeated his claim that Guardiola’s “arrogance” cost him more success of the Champions League.
He said, “Do you know what I don’t like about Guardiola? His arrogance.
“The Champions League, which he won with City (in 2023), was the only one in which he tried nothing strange in the decisive games. In Manchester and Munich, he always wanted to be the protagonist every second year. He changed things and made inventions to be able to say: “The players didn’t win it, I did it.”
“And this arrogance cost him several champions.”
Capello insists that he has not taken any additional pleasure in Guardiola this season, since the four -time defending champion Champions City is currently in fourth place and has been trying to qualify for the Champions League next season Before the crunch trip from tomorrow to Nottingham Forest.

“I have experienced three revolutions in football every 20 years or so: (Johan) Cruyffs Ajax, (Arrigo) Sacchis Milan and Guardiolas Barça. I have no problem saying it. “
Capello praises Madrid boss Ancelotti
Capello has no such problems with the Italian rural-mate Carlo Ancelotti and is surprised at the way he deals with his stars with stars.
“He is the best in the world,” he said. “Carlo was intelligent as a player and now he is very intelligent as a trainer. The training of Madrid is not easy and it is even more difficult with many stars, but he does it like a mother.
“Sometimes people who know nothing about football, but those of us who know are very clear. He knows when he has to speak loudly and when he has to be funny. This is the intelligence that made it possible for him to be successful everywhere.
“As a player, he retired with me in Milan, and I offered him the chance to join my team immediately, but he already had an obligation with Arrigo to be his assistant to the Italian national team.
“We already knew what a great coach he would be.”
