Rabat – The first day of Ramadan 2025 is in Australia confirmed be on March 1st. The Australian National Imams Council (Anic) posted On X today to celebrate the beginning of the Holy Month.

The Council wished the Muslim “Community in Australia and the whole world, a blessed, happy and joyful Ramadan 2025.”

A post on X from the Gulf News Next said That the date of “The Grand Mufti of Australia, Ibrahim Abu Mohamad”, religious councils of the country, including Anic, was confirmed.

The holy month Ramadan lasts 29-30 days, while the Muslims reveal from dawn to dusk from dawn.

A tradition for Mark Iftar, the first meal that Muslims have after fasting, is to consume data and water or milk to prepare the body after a day without food or water.

Muslims also gather in mosques and community centers to make special night prayers – Taraweeh – and to share free dinner.
