FIFA has officially announced the schedule for the next two games in the African qualification for the 2026 World Cup. The Atlas Lions will compete on Friday, March 21, 2025 and Tanzania on Tuesday, March 25, 2025. Both games take place in the Stade d’Unneur in Oujda.
According to a statement by the Royal Maroccan Football Federation (FRMF), both games will start at 9:30 p.m. local time.
Morocco previously played several qualification games at the same event location, including the third, fourth and sixth games in the Africa Cup of Nations qualification.
The Atlas Lions currently lead their group with nine points after three consecutive victories. Niger and Tanzania Trail with six points each, while Sambia is fourth with three points. The Republic of Congo stays with zero points below because Eritrea has withdrawn from the competition.
