Zinco, a subsidiary of Zinelec Group, was introduced on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, in Fez, its new production line for intelligent electrometers in Fez, during a ceremony in the presence of the Minister of Industry and Industry, Ryad Mezzour. This new production line required an investment of 12 million DH and will create 71 additional jobs.
Zinco, specializing in the production of water, electricity and reinforced concrete items for power lines and the marketing of public lighting solutions, has developed since 2011. It has developed from a commercial representation of international brands of electric meters and water to local industrial integration.
According to the company, this new production line has made it possible to develop for the production of a product with a high tech and to enable precise measurement of consumption, remote management and integration into intelligent electrical networks, which means that the growing need for the modernization of the national energy infrastructure and the challenges of the energy transfer as well as the optimized and sustainable energy management is fulfilled.
