FEZ-Meknès: More than 640,000 hectares of grain soda this season

For the 2024-2025 agricultural season, the area, which was cultivated in grain in the Fès-Meknès region, reached 640,611 hectares, including more than 629,000 hectares in irrigated land.

The main plants comprise 311,026 hectares of tariff, 167,590 hectares of wheat and 161,995 hectare barley. Food pods prove more than 47,000 hectares, with a prevailing beans (36,120 ha) and peas (5,081 ha).

Vierrage plants extend over more than 72,700 hectares, which consist mainly of oats and feed barley. With regard to the winter market gardener, 9,736 hectares were cultivated, especially with onions and potatoes.

In addition, the prefecture of Meknes and certain provinces make up 86% of the useful agricultural area of the region, which is 1,335,639 hectares or 15% of the national agricultural area. Irradiated country is 9% of the agricultural country in the region.
