52,740 craftsmen in the Fès-Meknès region were registered on January 31, 2025 in the national craft register. Among them are 27,926 in FEZ, 11.013 in Meknes, and the rest are distributed in the neighboring provinces. 23 craftsmen benefited from a regional support program, including thirteen for export. Twelve craftsmen also took part in excellence programs in tapestry and ceramics.
In addition, the regional department signed three agreements with universities and carried out nine studies on various aspects of the craft. After all, 14,060 craftsmen, companies and cooperatives have participated in trade fairs and exhibitions in the past ten years.
