The Fès-Meknès region will have an envelope of 1.8 billion DH for projects in the water sector. The regional council dedicated a shell of more than 1.4 billion DH to strengthen public policy in the water sector as part of an approved agreement on the occasion of the ordinary March, in which around forty partnership agreements that affect various areas were approved.
This contribution takes place as part of the implementation of the signed water sector on the occasion of the 2nd edition of the National Assises of Advanced Regionalization, which is responsible for the budget and regional wheels in December in Tanger in Tangier between the ministries and equipment and water, the deputy ministry.
The regional council also confirmed a confirmation of the specific agreement on the national program for the supply of drinking water and irrigation 2022-2027 (PNAEPI). This plans to increase the number of beneficiaries and the total investment from 206.9 to 367.75 mDH. In this envelope, the Council will unlock a contribution of 31 million DH. The rest is provided by the region and the Wilaya of the region.
